I am slowly busting out of my clothes and have to remind myself that the weight I'm gaining is good weight and that if I wasn't gaining weight I should be even more worried. Its just I'm not used to looking at weight as a good thing... a girl trait I believe that I hate but that's ok, Mom and I bought me some "fat pants" and when the time comes I will be one sexy fat prego lady! ;) (thanks mom for going shopping with me!)
In other news I am nearing the end of student teaching and will soon be turning in the biggest waste of time to get my grade: the TWS or Teacher Work Sample. Since I am a double major it has been double hard trying to find things to put into both my Art and PE samples. And I should be working on it now but it is such a boring thing to do and when all the teachers you talk to say they never come up with lesson plans or anything in the TWS that I have to turn in it makes it EXTRA hard to work on it! Oh well, I guess I should get back to it, but I did feel the need to have at least one blog for this month.

7 weeks
Student teaching has been taking more out of me than I thought possible! I love it don't get me wrong its just that after that I work at night to help pay for my school that I still have to pay this semester and that really sucks because I am almost always kinda sick to my stomach and hardly ever want to eat. I always seem to be constipated and I'm eating fruits and trying to be extra healthy even though today I bought school lunch for $3 and got burrito bites and chicken from the snack line and a $.75 Sprite. Not the best lunch ever, I think next time I do that I will just get the regular lunch for $3.50. Oh well! Anyway my measurements haven't changed but I have gained some weight, about 3 lbs. I'm not really excited about the weight gaining but that's ok I'll live I know its for a good reason its just I want my body to go back to normal after I'm pregnant! I just am praying for Mom's skinny gene, I just don't want to get as sick as she did which is so far so good! :) I have yet to really throw up and I'm getting passed the 1st trimester quicker and quicker so hopefully the 2nd trimester will be a nice break from the nausea and constipation. :) Tomorrow is Endurance day for PE! I can't wait to teach them the proper running form! :)
Also in other news our kitties are finally ready to be given away and I cannot WAIT to get rid of them! They have stunk up my house LONG enough and today we actually kicked them out of the house so we can clean so Sosete will come back inside, Mila has been driving us nuts lately (I also blame the pregnancy but.... she was pretty nice to me when she was pregnant with kittens!) Oh well! Hope to get rid of at least 3 to Phil's family and the rest to who-ever wants them! :)

Graduation 2010
Even though I still have student teaching to do and a few summer classes the college decided I was close enough to walk. So I am graduated without being truly done but hey, at least I'm close! :)
Here are some photos from that day:
Phil, Val, and Me
Dad, me and Mom :)
These next photos are from the PE graduation, the one that was much longer and much more boring! Art was the best! So Phil and his bro Mike did get a little bored...
as you can see by this photo of Mike
Grandma Tippets, Dad, me and Phil
My grandma Tippets was such a good sport she tackled the stairs and massive amounts of walking just for me! Thanks Grandma you're the best! :)
Val and Mom shot
Me and My favorite Professor, Jean Lopour! :)
Me next to the painting I sold at the BFA show in the Braithweight Gallery
Thanks everyone who sent their congratulations I can't wait to get into the classroom this fall! I'll be doing my student teaching at Canyon View Middle School YAY!

AND now to the CURRENT! 2010
This year has already been a blast and we have been so blessed. In my massive amounts of posting I forgot to mention one of our other big things of 2009, we bought a house! It is great it is a 6 bedroom 2 bath and WAY TOO BIG FOR 2 people, I guess that means I'll be having babies soon, j/k ;) Yeah for my birthday we had a double party a Housewarming/Birthday Party at our new place. :) It was great! Lots of friends and family came, I unfortunately took no photos then but I can add photos of the house itself! :)
So that was another tool that I added to my toolbox. I also will be taking the Art Praxis, a test I have to pass so I will be able to teach art, next Saturday... yikes so close! So I included the art praxis booklet too. I am confident I will do well enough on it but I have been studying as much as possible! Wish me luck and pray that I will pass so I will be able to student teach next semester!
And this next photo is what I want to do to the outside of it to make it not light pink and salmon trim.
Since we have this huge house we decided to get a foreign exchange student, Jeff, Phil's brother, had one last year and we did too for a month with Mike and Emily and it was great so we thought we would try it out as being the actual host parents.
This is from the day we picked him up from the air port.
His name is Valerian, or Val for short and he is from Belgium. He has been lots of fun and we love having him with us. We picked him up in the St. George airport in January and he has been living with us ever since. It has been great!
As for my last semester of classwork I have been using many different 'tools.' This is my toolbox idea for my painting class. We are doing psychological self portraits and I decided to focus mine on the many different roles I have been playing this year.
I am in some fairly difficult Physical Education classes and 2 art classes. It has been really hard to keep up on everything but I am doing alright I think! Since we have another mouth to feed I've been trying to cook more and once last month I cooked this AWESOME Curry!

Spring/Summer 2008 in a nutshell
Since I don't really want to spend lots of time playing catchup I'm going to just post a couple of main photos that I have from the years leading up to this one...

This was what I got Phil for New Years Eve... at first I thought he was going to kill me because I kind of just surprised him by bringing him home. Phil did not say much to me all new years eve because he was so shocked/mad about having a kitten. I was only able to keep him after he said, "Well you are going to have to take care of it!" This kitty knew he had to get on Phil's good side and soon he did! We named him Sosete which means "Socks" in Romanian. Phil and he are very good friends now.

This photo was taken after we had moved into Mike and Emily's House in the SWEETEST basement apartment EVER! (before living here we had lived in two other basement apartments with much smaller bathrooms and much less room.. this place was great it had 2 bath and 3 beds, too much room for two people but we loved being that close to Mike and Emily and kids!)

This was when Lins had a case lot sale and I decided it was time to start my own just in case! We have some left over from then but we do enjoy having it.
These two photos are from Spring of 2008 when Kenzie Emily and I were all training together. We all had a goal to run the Bryce Canyon Half Marathon in July so in the mean time we did any race we could find. :) Above is the Nursing 5k and below is the SUU Indoor Triathlon. Kenzie ran, I swam and Emily biked. (so much fun!)

This was our First Cruise together (AKA second Honeymoon) We went to Cabo San Lucas on the Carnival ship Elation. We had such a fun time! (sorry for the single picture, trying to sum up a year is hard!)

After going on our Cruise Phil came back home to "graduate" even though he still had summer English classes to finish. This is him and his parents on that lovely day!

These photos were taken in Hawaii for our 2nd 2nd honeymoon. We spent 1 week in July on Oaiho. It was fun and I'll post more photos from it on next blog but I'm having troubles with the loading of photos so we shall see!
